In this case we are going to focus all our attention on the black panel that we have on the left side.
All we need to know to learn how to use WordPress are these options. Nothing more, nothing less.
Now it's time to go through the options we have in that control panel step by step.
Desk
There is not much to say about the Start option . It is simply what you see in the screenshot above. We are not going to focus on the boxes that appear, since it is a kind of summary of the options we have in the entire control panel.
On the other hand, the Updates option is interesting. From here we can update the WordPress version, plugins, theme and translations .
Every time you have a new update, you will see an orange circle with a number automatically created next to the Updates section . This number simply means the number of updates you have available.
To update one of the options, just click on the button. In this case, in the Translations section, we can click on the Update translations button .
However, while the website is updating, do not do anything at all . Just wait. If you start messing with other options on the website while it is updating, the website may crash and give you a maintenance error.

Tickets
Entries - which are not the same as pages - are the option through which we can create articles on the blog.
The options we have are:

All Posts : From here you can access the list of posts or articles you have previously written. If this is your first time, you obviously won't have anything written, except for a post called Hello Word , which comes by default with the WordPress installation.
Add new : This option allows us to write a new entry. If in your case you already have the article written, you would just have to copy it and paste it here.
Categories : Through categories we can organize the different topics that we are going to talk about in the blog. In my case I have 5 categories: web design, digital marketing, SEO, visual identity and online business.
Tags : The basic function of tags is to enrich blog posts with other terms related to the article you have written. In this case we are not going to use tags, so we will skip this option.

Media
Media is the section where we can upload the images that we are going to use on the website.

My recommendation is that you only upload optimized images . By this I mean that the images must have a certain size and weight so as not to consume all the storage space on the hosting.

By the same token, I also don't recommend uploading videos or PDF documents. If you want to put a video on the web, the ideal thing is to upload it to YouTube (in secret) and then embed it or insert it into the web.
The same goes for PDF documents. You upload them to Dropbox or Drive and share the link.

In short, in the media section we only upload images . In this case, since it is a virgin installation, we do not have any images.

Pages
Let's now look at the pages option. It works the same way as the Posts section . You can see all the pages you have created or add a new one.
Pages are the tabs on your website. To give you an idea, a page or tab can be the home page, another page, the services page, etc.
When you click on the Add New option , you will arrive at a screen like the following. We will only put the name of the page and click on Publish from the blue button at the top right.

Comments
It is possible that a default comment will appear in this section. The first thing I will do is send the comment to the trash.
