2. Application for advertising media
In addition to applying to copyright managers such as JASRAC, you may also need to apply to the advertising media companies where you plan to place your advertisements .
Below is a list of the measures required for each type of media that we confirmed when dealing with this case.
Google (Youtube): Not required, but application is recommended
When I contacted Google, they replied, "Although we can't say for sure, there is a possibility that it may be caught in future ad reviews and distribution may be suspended, so it is advisable to apply in advance."
How to respond: Apply via the form
The review process takes 1-2 weeks
Ad delivery will not be suspended during the review process.
Since the distribution period is more than two weeks and there is a possibility that it will be rejected by manual review in the future, it is recommended that you apply through the form and get permission.

3. Post-distribution response
After distribution, you will be required to submit a report and pay the usage fee .
Submission of report
Once the advertisement distribution has ended, you phone number data base must promptly prepare a report and submit it to JASRAC.
Please prepare a report according to the report format below. This is a format for internet distribution, and may differ depending on the medium, such as TV or radio.
Please also note that submission deadlines vary depending on the medium.
For internet distribution, a report must be submitted within three months. For measures covering a long period of time, such as six months, a report and payment of usage fees must be submitted every three months.
Payment of royalties
If there are no errors in the contents of the report, an invoice and detailed billing statement will usually be sent to you within about two weeks.
Once you make your payment by the due date, all copyright matters will be completed.
* Payment is due within 30 days from the date of invoice issue, except in special cases.
[Supplementary information] Calculation of usage fees
The usage fee is calculated by entering the number of times each site is distributed in the "Number of Distributions" field on the Internet Commercial Distribution Report and Invoice. We will also explain the calculation logic.
The fee for internet commercial distribution is calculated by multiplying the unit price (50 yen) per 1,000 distributions by the number of commercial distributions (in thousands).
The unit price is the same regardless of the distribution site or the playback time of each distribution.
In addition, if the calculated usage fee is less than 5,000 yen, a minimum usage fee of 5,000 yen (excluding tax) will be charged.
