The word "wait" is similar to the word "stop". It attracts attention.
When you ask someone to wait, you're sending a subtle signal that you're about to share something they want to know. It's psychological marketing at its finest.
Consider using this word as a title in your pop-up.
Other trigger words and phrases may include "stop," "wait," "before you go," "hold on," or "don't miss this." Trigger words should be bold and in high-contrast font so they are easy to see.
Here's an example from the book Olive and Piper.

7. Use humor when appropriate.
Humor can work for you as well as against you. If you tell a joke that no whatsapp number list for marketing one gets — or worse, if it offends your target audience — you could be killing your conversion rate instead of dramatically increasing it.
However, if you can incorporate subtle, well-placed humor into your pop-up, do so. It showcases your brand's personality.
8. Include reviews in exit popups
Reviews are a form of social proof. Consumers tend to trust other consumers over marketers, so letting your existing customers speak for you can pay off big time.
One testimonial with the customer's full name and, if possible, a photo will do wonders. The more credibility you can give to your testimonials, the better.
Video testimonials can also be very effective. They are more personal and intimate, and add credibility to the recommendations.
9. Arouse visitors' curiosity
Curiosity is a powerful way to attract consumers. Once you have it, you can present your offer in an intriguing way.
You have many opportunities to pique curiosity, whether it's sharing a fun fact or interesting statistic or presenting the visitor with a humorous image. It's important to know your audience.
A promise can also create curiosity. For example, as mentioned above, Neil Patel used a statement of fact and an impressive feat to generate more conversions. He explained that he could do something extremely difficult.
He promises he can help clients do the same.
