Twitter looks in LinkedIn's mirror and will start publishing job offers

Post by samiaseo75 »

The resounding entrance on the scene of Threads , Meta's Twitter clone, has become a painful headache for Elon Musk , who plans to put a stop to this new generation platform by equipping the social network with new features.

Among the wide range of new features that Twitter has in the works to combat the threat of Threads, one feature stands out that would link the blue bird social network to LinkedIn.

As revealed by Adam Ryan, CEO of ecuador phone number data Workweek, Twitter has up its sleeve the new “Job Listings” function which, as its name suggests, will involve the publication of job offers on the microblogging network.

The idea is that companies can publish active job offers on their Twitter profiles in order to connect with potential candidates.

This feature , which is apparently part of Twitter's subscription service for organizations , is still in the development phase , although it is already known how the "Job Listings" feature will be adapted to the social network's user interface.

Job offers will be placed on the Twitter interface below the number of followers on the profile and will be arranged in a lower side carousel.

The “Job Listings” feature is still in development.
These offers will echo the name of the position and also the place of work and the user will be able to consult them by simply sliding over them with a finger or mouse.

It also appears that Twitter will allow companies to rely on hashtags and promoted tweets to increase visibility for their job offers.

It is currently unclear whether the publication of job offers will be restricted to company profiles or whether any user will have the power to announce job vacancies.

The fact that Twitter is now providing a home for job offers is perfectly in keeping with the nature of the social network, which many users already use to actively search for employment.
