PIX: 1st week yields 3.5 million registrations and first scams

The Central Bank assessed the first day of key registration for PIX, Brazil's new instant payment system, as successful. The operation officially began this Monday (05) and reached 3.5 million keys by 6:30 pm, with 1 hour and a half left until the end of the daily count. According to Correio Braziliense , the first million mark was surpassed in the first 3 hours of the service.
