You need a wiki: tool to create a collaborative Wiki

Post by bitheerani674 »

Today we are introducing a free version of a tool that allows you to create a collaborative Wiki, meaning that users can edit content collaboratively.

You can find the tool at You need a wiki and it is based on Google Docs.

What this tool does is convert your Google Docs folders and files into a corporate Wiki.

Imagine a company, the telephone service department, we can give ig database and/or write rights to the employees of that department and they will have all the document management centralized in a single point. Everyone could manage, for example, the telephone service procedures and add or remove things from each procedure. The good thing is that with You need a wiki we will have a much more intuitive interface than Google Docs natively.

You can create as many folders (and subfolders) as you want and share them with whoever you want so they can write or just read. Each folder can contain Word, Excel, PDF files, images, etc.

A very interesting option is that the files you upload can be linked to each other and also shared with other users.

Regarding prices:

1 user is free
Up to 10 users who can edit files: $10 per month
Up to 25 users who can edit files: $49 per month
Up to 75 users who can edit files: $99 per month
If you need to have more than 75 users you must contact them.
The number of users who can view files (read-only) is unlimited.

All plans allow us to configure the Wiki to be viewed on our domain, we can customize the color of the sidebar, we have a search engine and unlimited Wikis.
