Examples of promotions utilizing tourism resources in the Chubu region

Post by moniya12 »

As mentioned above, the Shoryudo Project is a project aimed at foreign tourists visiting Japan, aiming to raise awareness of the Chubu and Hokuriku regions. The Shoryudo is a tourist route that connects the nine prefectures of the Chubu and Hokuriku regions (Toyama, Ishikawa, Fukui, Nagano, Gifu, Shizuoka, Aichi, Mie, and Shiga) in the shape of a dragon.

The shape of the Noto Peninsula resembles a dragon's head, which brings to mind the image of a dragon rising, hence the name "Shoryu-do" (Shoryu Road).

In order to clearly convey the seasonal charms of the Shoryudo, also known as the Dragon Route, we have compiled a guidebook that selects "100 Best Scenes of the Shoryudo in Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter." The guidebook introduces hot springs surrounded by nature in the Chubu region, a tour of the three national treasure castles, craftsmanship and traditional techniques.

Next, we will introduce two examples from each prefecture in uganda consumer email list the Chubu region of initiatives that utilize tourism resources.

4.1 Niigata Prefecture

The first example from Niigata Prefecture is " NIIGATA Culture Tourism ." The initiative promotes tourism that allows visitors to experience the culture rooted in the region through videos and guidebooks.

The video includes a concept movie in which travelers in the Niigata and Sado areas experience traditional performing arts, food, and cultural assets, as well as interviews with producers and other people who support the culture.

The guidebook is 100 pages long and introduces content related to food culture and local dialects. It is available to view digitally on the website and is also distributed to travel agencies, hotels, and other locations, mainly in the Tokyo metropolitan area.

The second initiative is an effort to make Niigata a "child-friendly prefecture." We have appointed Ms. Natsuko Yokozawa, a Niigata native who enjoys widespread support from the child-rearing generation, as our ambassador, and we are promoting the appeal of the prefecture's child-rearing environment both within and outside the prefecture, including the Tokyo metropolitan area.

A new site for families, " Niigata no Tsukaikata for Family ," has been launched within the portal site for young people, "Niigata no Tsukaikata." In addition to an interview with Yokozawa Natsuko, the site provides information on play spots for children, food, education, and more.
