To create a global site tag in Google Analytics:
1. Open the Google Analytics admin screen
. 2. Select "Admin."
3. Select "Tracking Code" under "Tracking administrations directors mailing lead Information" and output the tag
4. Copy the global site tag that appears
5. Implement it after the <head> of your website's HTML source
After selecting "Tracking Code", the global site tag will be displayed in the center of the screen. Copy it exactly, making sure not to leave out any parts or include any unnecessary characters, and paste it into the HTML source of your website. Note that what is output here is the Google Analytics tag.
