We know that in summer you want to disconnect, leave social media aside, get lost on a beach with no coverage, leave your laptop out of your suitcase... but the truth is that the world of digital marketing doesn't 'go on vacation' and is constantly moving .
We don't want you to miss anything that has happened in the digital world so far this summer , so at e -strategia we have prepared this post in which we summarise the highlights of the sector during the summer period.
Google :
It is undoubtedly the company that has received the biggest news this summer: “ Google disappears as we know it and becomes Alphabet ”
At the end of the year, Google will definitively change austria business email list its name to Alphabet , leaving the name Google exclusively for its presence on the Internet. It does this to avoid transmitting the wrong image, since in recent years, Google has embarked on different and daring projects such as developing cars... which have little to do with its main function, as an Internet search engine. It thus intends to have greater freedom to expand into other segments.
Another new feature that the Internet giant is introducing is Dmail , a tool that allows you to destroy email messages sent by Gmail . It is an extension exclusively for Google Chrome .
Finally, another of the new features that has surprised us the most from Google is that from now on Google Maps will be able to tell us if the store we want to go to will be open or closed when we get to our destination, without a doubt a very useful tool today when we are in a hurry and without time to go everywhere. Of course, it will be necessary that the company or store we are going to is registered with Google .
Google is a company that never ceases to surprise us. What does it have in store for us next?

Social networks:
Since YouTube launched its version for children, YouTubeKids , there has been constant controversy over its lack of protection and inappropriate content... which is why YouTube has decided to make a big splash and has completely reinforced the protection of minors by establishing an age rating for music videos, since many of these can be classified as offensive or sexist.
But we cannot talk about Social Networks without naming the giant of social platforms: Facebook .
What would summer be like without Facebook having any activity?
