“In Passage” is the new hit by Claudia Leitte
Axé singer Cláudia Leitte has released her new work “De Passagem” to the radio. The song is a preparation for the new album in production that promises a more pop tone for Cláudia’s career.
In addition to announcing her new album, the song “De Passagem” is a celebration of her 20-year career, bringing references to Salvador and gratitude for everything she has achieved over the years. The singer points out:
“I am happy to look back and see all the things I had the pleasure of achieving and the people who were with me in achieving them, how grateful I am to those people, but I want more. That is something that does not change in me.”
It is from this feeling that the song is born. Check out how this hit came about below!
The song features a special guest at the end of the song china data the youngest daughter who invades the studio. Cláudia comments:
“It was very spontaneous [Bela’s participation]. My children have always been part of my upbringing atmosphere, they have always been with me, but it’s funny how Bela has a broader connection to this than the boys.”
20 years of Claudia Leitte
During the release of the hit, the singer reflects on her 20-year career and all the changes in her professional and personal life in the meantime.
Initially, starting as a skinny 20-year-old girl on top of the electric trios, we can observe the changes in the Cláudia we see today.
“I was a girl and today I am a woman. It is very different, it is a huge discrepancy when I look at myself and have the opportunity to see myself,” says the singer. “At the same time, I continue to have a happy, strong spirit, I think it is a trait of my personality. I was a very strong girl and I am a very strong woman today.”
When remembering all these years, the feeling that Cláudia conveys to us through the song “De Passagem” is one of gratitude.
“I am happy to look back and see all the things I had the pleasure of achieving and the people who were with me in achieving them, how grateful I am to those people, but I want more. That is something that does not change in me”, comments the singer.
