Customers immediately clamored for them, and Burberry even produced umbrellas featuring the exclusive design. They immediately sold out, and thus Burberry had arrived.
The fashion house's appeal broadened throughout the 20th century as Britain's working class became more interested. The iconic tartan and knight logo, worn by young men across Europe, became associated with football hooliganism, presenting problems for the company.
Burberry introduced its first fragrance in 1981, Burberry for Men, and has since produced over 70 different fragrances.
Classify fragrances
In the popular imagination, perfumes are fragrances for women and colognes are for men. But this idea is misleading. Fragrances are classified based on the concentration of aromatic compounds and their mexico email list dilution in water, alcohol or a mixture of both.
As you might expect, more concentrated fragrances offer stronger, longer lasting scents.
Perfume: The highest concentration is known as perfume extract or perfume. It usually has around 15-40% aromatic compounds.

Eau de parfum: Approximately 10-20% concentration, and is actually the concentration of most fragrances marketed as “perfume.”
Eau de toilette: This air freshener has between 5% and 15% concentration.
Eau de Cologne: Typically, Eau de Cologne has between 3-8% aromatics.
Eau fraiche: Contains 3% or less aromatic compounds.
