Click "Tag Settings" and then click "Custom HTML"

(There is also a template for the "Yahoo! Ads" conversion tag, but we will not go into that here as we are going with a simpler method.)

4. Paste the conversion measurement phone number database free source code (B) into "HTML" and check "Support document.write".

Here we will use the conversion measurement source code obtained from the Yahoo! Ads management screen.

If you're wondering what it was, please come back here .

Don't click save yet! This is where the site general tag comes in.

5. Click "Advanced Settings" and then "Tag Ordering"

In addition to entering the source code, Yahoo! Ads requires you to set up the firing procedure.

6. Check the "Before it takes effect" box and select the "Site General Tag" you just created for "Set Tag"

Yahoo! Ads tags must be fired in the following order: site general tag → conversion tag → retargeting tag.

Therefore, set the "Site General Tag" to be delivered "before it takes effect."

7. Click the "Save" button

This completes the tag installation. Good job!

Publishing
The tag has been created, but the settings will not be reflected and measurement will not take place until you "Publish" the tag in GTM.

Conversion testing
One thing you need to do before publishing is to run a "conversion test ." A conversion test is a test to check whether the tags you have installed are firing properly.

We will conduct conversion tests in preview mode (a state in which the tag has not yet been published, but in which you can check how it will work when the settings are applied), but please check in advance as the testing method will vary depending on the project.
