Tell us about Colono Construction

What is your day-to-day life like as Head of Marketing at Colono Construcción? What responsibilities does this position entail?
English: E: Fortunately, every day is a challenge and we are constantly looking for ways to stay in line with our customers' wishes , not only in terms of communication, promotions, and new channels, but we also support them with actions that can directly impact sales through events, strategic alliances, etc.
Based on an annual marketing plan drawn up by the department, we work every day to ensure its execution and we frequently review the impact of the actions at a budgetary level and in terms of their impact on sales.
On a day-to-day basis, we see new possibilities for positioning the brand both online and offline , how to attract new potential customers, improve customer service, and how to support communities through Corporate Social Responsibility actions.
What challenges does marketing pose in a chain of stores or hardware stores?
E: Marketing in Costa Rican hardware stores has generally been limited to communication and promotions . These two areas have been worked on mainly in an offline manner for many years. However, new trends and the openness of the executive committee have allowed us to take small steps towards more comprehensive marketing in various areas, including the online part and new technologies.
Who is your target audience? How do you reach them?
A: We are multitarget , as fortunately we serve from the client who requires a bowler hat (private clients), to tenders from public institutions, through to room projects, remodeling, etc.
We reach them in different ways: offline advertising, digital marketing, sales agents, sales staff in stores, telesales service (chat, WhatsApp, networks, telephone). We are all focused on sales .
What kind of online and offline actions do you carry out to promote your brand?
