In mid-January, Dinsan Francis, a member of the Chrome Story team, reported the discovery of the Chrome NTP Cart Module. A kind of widget or extension that would allow users to manage purchases in different types of e-commerce directly from the browser.
Francis also noted that, for the moment, only the online sales platforms Amazon, eBay, H&M, Walmart, Target and Etsy have support for the tool tag. However, despite the great commotion that the discovery has caused among Internet users, Google has not released any information about this project.
Currently, the only data available on Chrome Cart comes from Francis' observations and findings. The in-browser shopping tool is expected to bring together information from various online shopping sites into one app.
