Withdrawing large amounts of cash is becoming increasingly dangerous, which is why bank transfers are a safe and low-cost alternative.
Transactions between accounts of the same financial institution, in most cases, are free of charge ; but if they are between different companies, an average commission of S/.3 must be paid, says the manager of the Electronic Clearing House, Jorge Martínez.
The executive said that since bahamas number screening November 2013, a promotion has been in effect – it ends in April – that allows transactions of less than S/.350 or US$135 without charging a commission , provided that the entities issuing and receiving the money are affiliated.
Banco de Comercio, Banco Falabella, Banco Financiero, BanBif, Interbank , BBVA Continental , Crediscotia, Scotiabank , and the municipal savings banks of Cusco, Piura, Sullana, Trujillo and Arequipa are participating in the promotion.
Martínez said that Banco de Crédito ( BCP ) will offer it starting in February.
IT IS EXECUTED ON THE SAME DAY The Clearing House also reminded that it is no longer necessary to wait until the next day to complete a transaction.
If the deposit is made before 11 am, it will be credited at 2 pm the same day. If the transaction was made before 2 pm, it will be received at 5:15 pm. And if it was made after 2 pm, it will be credited the following day.
Interbank transfers have a limit of S/.310 thousand or US$60 thousand . "For larger amounts, several transfers can be made or a cashier's check can be generated. This costs between S/.14 and S/.15," explained Martínez.
