Personalize your survey experience

Post by pappu9268 »

Custom variables capture and attach the entered information to the respondent's profile. Once this data is in place, the survey becomes more personalized based on previous responses. For example: A company has stores in four cities: Toluca, Monterrey, Guadalajara, and Puebla. Customer satisfaction survey responses have been collected from all four cities, and each time a city is entered by the respondent it is stored in a custom variable, say (Custom Variable 2). However, now the branch manager in Guadalajara wants to see reports for only his city. All that needs to be done is to simply filter the record, which can be done in four easy steps:

Log in to QuestionPro, select the survey you have applied and click on “Reports”.
In your dashboard, you will see the “Filter Data” section at the top of the page.
In the first dropdown, select “System Variable.” In the second dropdown, select the Custom Variable that was used to capture the information; in our cities example, it was Custom Variable 2 .
In the next section, simply add the custom variable feature that you brazil phone number want to filter and extract data from.
Benefits of custom variables
After these four steps, you will be presented with a filtered report, with data for only the custom variable you selected. For our hypothetical company, you will see data for only the visitors to the Guadalajara store. Additionally, this data can also be exported to Excel for further analysis.

Other advantages of using custom variables
Another great thing you can do with these variables is to use them within branching and logic questions. This allows you to customize the survey experience for specific participants based on the custom variable you define. You can also create a single survey and run it with a diverse email list, rather than segmenting your list and creating multiple surveys based on specific respondent criteria.
