YouTube: from the mobile screen to the TV screen (and I'm shooting because it's my turn)

Post by rUparaHmaN017 »

Initially, YouTube videos were watched en masse on computers, which were the Internet access device par excellence when the famous video platform was launched back in 2005. Later, YouTube's eyes (actually its users' eyes) were drawn with unusual force to the ubiquitous smartphones, but now they are moving away from them to take refuge on the much larger screen of the television.

And this shift in devices that YouTube users are undertaking translates into a whole new plethora of opportunities for advertisers . This is the belief of Pedro Pinto, YouTube's vice president for the list of henan cell phone numbers EMEA region, who is participating in the Online Marketing Rockstars ( OMR ) festival in Hamburg, where MarketingDirecto.com has travelled to exclusively cover the event.

“YouTube is migrating from the small screen to the big screen ,” insists Pina. And this trend opens up an interesting field of research for advertisers because they can thus connect with a particularly attentive audience. “Action-oriented video campaigns on connected television offer brands interesting monetization opportunities,” stresses Pina.

YouTube wants to continue giving a voice to those who are usually silenced in conventional media
For this reason, the head of YouTube in Europe wants to give a voice to the majority of users of this platform and provide even more support to creators through monetization tools and formats focused on content creation and interaction with the audience.

“ Content and audience diversity are extremely important to me ,” says Pinto. An open platform like YouTube must continue to be a stage for all those whose voices are rarely heard in the future (the LGBTQ+ community, for example, which takes advantage of its limited presence in traditional media to make its voice heard on YouTube).

One of the many scenarios that the Google subsidiary makes available to its creators is YouTube Shorts , where the content hosted there is very easy to produce and is accessible to everyone.
